The following is a discussion between Steven K. Scott (one of the owners of Max International) and Dr. Robert Keller, developer of MaxGXL.

Glutathione has long been used by the natural health community to help with autism, but with limited results because nothing raises glutathione levels like MaxGXL. (Approximately 5 to 10x more powerful than anything else proven to work.) Now the medical community is exploring this option. But by the time they figure this out, I bet MaxGXL will already have its autism clinical trials long finished. They are currently underway.
Note that the TV spot calls it a "treatment," which is perhaps ok because it's done in a hospital. It is NOT a cure, and GXL can NOT "treat" autism. What it CAN do is raise intracellular glutathione levels more than anything else known (including the therapy being used in this TV spot). In theory, this should help the body to function better because the average autistic child is grossly depleted of glutatione -- by around 50% or more.
